Some friends of mine were organizing a cosplay group for Last Exile and even before seeing it, I was casted as Lucciola... not that I minded. But after watching the series, which is totally epic, I naturally fell in love with his character anyway. I'm so happy to have gotten to cosplay him with so many other Last Exile fans. It was seriously a fun time.

~skwinkography was gracious enough to do an unplanned shoot with myself and ~bluucircles as Dio, in order to get some photos of my costume sans cloak (since I was having some malfunctions earlier in the day). I can't thank her enough!!

(She makes the cutest Lavie, btw!)

I'm actually surprised I finished the bodysuit in full in time for the convention. I fully expected not to have all the details done. Miracles do happen.

I have so many pictures of this cosplay already, I can't even. So expect much more to come.

This photo is probably my favorite from the set. It came out so crisp, your pose is spot on too! And my profile shot looks pretty good too (lots of the time profiles of me look awful, it's just not a good angle for me). Everything in this photo is just working so right. All the details of your bodysuit look amaaaaazing!

This one did turn out really well! (I like the reverse shot too, where you're in front and I'm in back) And I agree! I really like your profile in this! It's perfectly Dio, and also shows the cut of the wig nicely C: (I think profile shots are tough for a lot of people). I think the lighting was tough, but I like how these turned out so creamy and sort-of-monochromatic. Makes it feel kind of other-worldly

I was so terrified I had broken your invisible zipper. I'm so glad you were able to get it off (hopefully without casualty?) because your bodysuit is flippin' amazing! I can only think of that scene where Lucciola ditches the cloak and kicks a bunch of Guild ass to orchestral music, LOL.

The zipper did end up breaking, but I don't blame you at all! Actually I think part of the reason the zipper was troublesome was because it was one of the last things I tried sewing with my broken machine (and the stitches weren't very tight). I had to really mess with the zipper to get it off, so I'll almost definitely have to reinstall a new zipper. But not a big deal! Thank you for trying to assist me T_T I only wish I could have taken my cloak off more throughout the day, poo. Oh well.

And YES! Totally! But then I start to wibble, so I don't want to think about it... ;__;
