The Hie Shrine at Akasaka, Tokyo.
This is a small shrine near where I live in Akasaka. I went here on one of my first days in Japan, so this was my first shrine/temple experiences (of many to come!) It was quiet and quaint, and some stands still remained from the New Year's celebrations...
This photo is pretty simple, but still offers a nice composition, I think... On this day, there was hardly anyone else here! So it was pretty easy to get some nice shots...
